Aetna started working for National Kidney Foundation




An American Managed Health Care Company named “Aetna” that sells customer directed health care assurance plans and concerning services like, Dental, long term Care, Medical, Disability plans and pharmaceutical. In short, this company is a member at the Fortune 100. Aetna offers complete health care, group life, pharmacy and employee profits though employer paid assurance and promotion programs, and via Medicare. Below just look at the membership numbers till last year 2013: Medical members are 22 million; Dental members are 14.3 million; Pharmacy members are 13.8 million; Group insurance members are 13.609 million; Hospitals are 5,300 in number; Health care trainers are 1,000,000+.
Recent Aetna stock graphs show that it has spent almost $2.0 million on lobbying in 2009. Aetna spent $809,793 in 2008 – 09 up 41 percent from the same time span in 2008. This company also contributed in Campaigns more than $110,000 to US Senator in 2009. From 2005 to 2009, the company continuously contributing $56,259 to Senator and Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee in order to make Aetna the Senator’s seventh largest donor over that time period.
According to current Aetna stock news, it also starts working with National Kidney Foundation to help out the people suffering from Chronic Kidney problem. For this, Aetna Innovative Labs will first categorize the members having CKD for Chronic Kidney Disease society. Recently, company has started outreach to suitable people in fully indemnified people.
