Why Are Coke Sales Declining In the Modern Economy?



The Coca-Cola Company (KO) is primarily a beverage company. The company provides diet, regular sparkling, and still beverages. The portfolio of the company’s brands is very vast and is enjoying a large customer base. There are seven segments in total through which the company is operating its business worldwide. The headquarters of the company are based in Atlanta, GA.
Coca-Cola has always remained active in terms of the primary choice for the consumers in terms of consuming the beverages. The Coca-Cola enterprises have although been struggling recently in the investment world. The stock of the company has fallen by more than 5% in the recent quarter, as the company has been devising ways of how to best handle the situation in which the beverages of the company are declining in numbers in the modern economic situation. The last year saw a decline of 3% beverages sales in U.S. alone; although this decline is significantly lower than the decline other companies have been facing lately. Coca-Cola finance has also declined due to the low sales in the last quarter. The company has also fired many of its even old employees due to the declining business and cost reduction. This is why the prospective candidates are not finding Coca-Cola careers attractive anymore.
