Wireless Industry News Post

Wireless technology is one of the greatest inventions of the twenty century. While only a few decades ago everyone had to transfer data using floppy disks, CD’s and then later on USB devices. Wireless technology took the world by storm. The world now relies on Wi-Fi, Blue Tooth and other such technologies for the transfer of data. Wireless Wi-Fi is easy to install and for the most part a plug and play device requiring now knowledge or know how of routers and IP address or getting into any such hassle. Everything in this day and age is now wireless; mobiles use 3G and 4G technology allowing high speed internet access and availability of all sorts of data on the go. If you want to find the nearest restaurant to eat all you need to do is open your phone push a few buttons and via Google maps viola you not only know the nearest restaurant to eat in but also get a complete GPRS navigational guide on how to get there. Headphones which once used a wire that had to be connected to your phone or computer are wireless now too, the same goes for computer mouses and keyboards. Everything is becoming wireless and wireless technology is the future. Even your mobile device can now be charged wirelessly using NFS (Near Field System) technology.
Google has now come up with a new product by the name of Google Glass. A sort of eye wears glasses that have internet and a number of other cool features in it. To find out more about Google Glass and all the controversies surrounding it, you can find all the spicy details on Bidness.
Google now even has car that runs using wireless technology, roaming the streets without a driver in it. Similarly the military too now uses wireless technology to guide unmanned drones for both reconnaissance, as well as surgical strikes on enemy targets.
Even agriculture is now going high tech and tending to begin using wireless technology; John Deere tractors are now being fitted with Ipads and these ingenious tractors come with HAM radio and walki-talkie’s allowing farmers to plant seeds precisely where they have put fertilizer as well as allowing them to keep track of seed population. Furthermore these tractors with the devices fitted in them can be converted into Wi-Fi hotspots immediately uploading the data of where fertilizer and seeds were planted directly to a cloud.
There is no doubt that the future is wireless and the use of cables shall soon become obsolete; perhaps someday we won’t need cables for anything everything will be done via the sending and receiving of signals from satellites. However those days are perhaps a bit far off from now but who knows maybe some genius somewhere will make a break through and the whole world shall go wireless or maybe the whole world shall go dark who knows…
